Exterdens

Exterdens® is an intumescent material based on vermicular graphite with either a glass fibre reinforced or thermoplastic matrix. When subjected to fire it expands to 40 times its original volume. Used widely as a fire seal in timber fire resisting doors, partitions, glazing, ironmongery and hardware protection.
