Mann McGowan is proud to once again support the British Woodworking Federation’s Fire Door Safety Week on 20th-26th September.
With leading industry partners we’ll be raising awareness of the critical role that fire doors play in saving lives and protecting property, through a series of events and seminars, and a wealth of free fire door information and guidance from the Fire Door Safety Week Toolkit.
Everyone plays their part in ensuring a fire door performs as it should, from the manufacturer through to the building users, including those in care homes, schools, hospitals and student accommodation. Education is key, and there are some simple checks you can undertake depending on whether you are a building owner, manager, landlord or occupier. As part of #FDSW21, on 21st September Mann McGowan be contributing to a seminar jointly hosted by the Finishes & Interiors Sector (FIS) and Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) to highlight key priorities for delivering fire door safety in specialist interior and fit-out contracts.
